Seasonal Nourishment: Herbal Remedies for Fall
- Date: Friday, September 25th
- Time: 6 - 8 pm
- Location: Clinical Traditions Herb Farm, by Southside & Atlantic Blvd. (address provided after registration)
Join us for an fun, casual evening of herbs and connection to honor the Fall Equinox and the Harvest Full Moon! Together we will celebrate the energies of the season while bundling herbal smudge sticks, for you to take home, and enjoying a variety of small bites made with late-summer and early fall herbs and plants. Think: blue basil shortbread cookies, bidens alba kimchi, a hydrating hibiscus salt spritzer, and more!
Fall in Florida is a subtle shift – one that invites us to soften, give thanks for what has blossomed in our lives so far this year, and reflect and let go of what we no longer need. During our time together, we will discuss these energies as we tour the Clinical Traditions gardens to see which plants are growing and can support us through this transition. We will bundle herbal smudge sticks, using many of the plants we see, for participants to take home and use in any sort of clearing out or upcoming fall ritual.
We also invite participants to bring items they have in abundance to share and trade with the group! This is completely optional, but feel free to bring extra plant starts, dried herbs, homemade goodies or crafts, etc. to share and get ready to take home some fun new treasures.
We can't wait to see you there for an evening of connection, creativity, and delicious herbal creations.
The event is hosted by Natalie, with Taproot Apothecary, Kaki, with Clinical Traditions, and Nadia, with Beeskeeper Covers.
